JB YEW SENG STATIONERY STORY
FOUNDED IN THE 80’S
YEW SENG STATIONERY TRADING COMPANY was registered as a partnership business under the Business Registration Act 1956 on 24 August 1980. In a rented double-storey shop-house located at No.25, Jalan Kris, Taman Sri Tebrau, 80250 Johor Bahru, the Company served as a retail outlet for stationery products. By 1988, the company bought over the shop-house. (Reg.No.: JM-0032344-K).
FROM PARTNERSHIP TO SDN BHD
With the growth of business and becoming a major supplier of stationery products to businesses located in various industrial estates in the Johor Bahru district, the partners, Mr Liew Yu Kim and Mr Lim Pin Hoo decided to incorporate the Company under the Companies Act 1965. JB YEW SENG STATIONERY SDN BHD was then incorporated on 21st Septembler 1989 (Co. No.: 186993-P) to change its entity from a partnership business to a private limited company.
FURTHER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
In order to serve our customers with a wider choice of quality stationery products, our Company had decided to venture into the wholesale stationery business in 1990, becoming the authorized representative of leading international stationery products manufacturers. Also, to provide a conducive working space for the quality check, packing & storage facility, our Company also bought two adjoining warehouse building located at No. 118 & 120, Jalan Seroja 39, Taman Johor Jaya.
SO FAR
Our Company, with its capacity to carry large stock volume, is now not only a major stationery product supplier to the business sectors, including manufacturers and commercial banks, but also has become a major distributor to retailers throughout the country and we’ve expanded our deliveries by road to as far as Pengerang/Desaru area to serve the customers located there.
